Aim  of  the  camp  :  

“Be You – Be the World” offers a space and a moment to build peace, form meaningful connections, and imagine a better world—by and for young people.

• Building peace through the meeting of young people from around the world, guided by the areas of focus of Rotary International.
• In the heart of summer 2026, the Rotary Club of Ambérieu welcomes young people from across the globe on a journey where connection, culture, and commitment come together.
• From Geneva—home to the United Nations and the Red Cross, and a historic center for collective security and peace—to Lyon and Chamonix, where city life and natural beauty invite both wonder and reflection, each step of the program is designed as an opportunity to discover and to act.
• Throughout the journey, participants explore Rotary’s seven areas of focus: peace and conflict resolution, disease prevention and health, education, water and sanitation, economic development, and environmental protection.
• Yet beyond these themes, the experience is above all about learning how to meet, listen, share, and create together.

Participation fee: 1000  euros /participant,  to be paid  before the beginning of the camp, including accommodation, food and transfer from Lyon to the camp and return.

 

Accommodation: Rotarian Host families, 6 nights. Holiday camp, 4 nights (with accompanying persons)

 

Insurance : Participants must contract an insurance (illness,  accident  and  third  party  damages). You'll have to subscribe to "AXA/Welcare" French contract (about 150 €/participant).

The  transfers  from the airport or the station will be  organized  by  the  Camp committee.
